Overview
This part of IEC 60730 applies to automatic electrical burner control systems for the automatic control of burners for oil, gas, coal or other combustibles for household and similar use including heating, air conditioning and similar use. This part 2-5 applies for a complete burner control system and for a separate control device. This part 2-5 is also applicable for a separate electronic high voltage ignition source and a separate flame detector device. The responsible Committee is K 515 "Regel- und Steuergeräte" ("Controls") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
