Overview
This part of DIN EN 62058 specifies general acceptance inspection methods of newly manufactured electricity metering equipment, supplied in lots of 50 and above. The method described in this standard can be used to assess conformity with the requirements of EC Directive 2004/22/EC of the European Parliament and the Council on measuring instruments. The responsible Committee is K 461 "Elektrizitätszähler" ("Meters") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) of DIN and VDE.
