Industrial networks - Installation of communication networks in industrial premises
Abstract
This document specifies the basic requirements for the installation of signal carriers for communication networks in industrial facilities, as well as within and between automation cells. This document addresses symmetrical copper and optical signal carriers. It also covers cabling for wireless signal carrier systems, but not the wireless medium itself. Additional media are covered in IEC 61784-5 (all parts).
