This part of IEC 61753 contains the minimum requirements and severities, which hardened fibre optic connectors with single-fibre ferrule or multi-fibre ferrule terminated on multimode fibre cable needs to meet in order to be categorized as meeting the IEC standard category A - Outdoor aerial environment, as defined in IEC 61753-1, Annex A.
