Specifications for laying cable protection pipes, microducts and microduct bundles in the ground for broadband expansion
Abstract
This DIN 40910 standard describes the laying of microtubes and micro-associations outside of buildings, e.g. at network level 3. The document assumes that the route has been prepared for laying using standard construction methods. These requirements for this open route, the laying process and the necessary tools and procedures are described. The document does not describe the restoration of the surface after laying the TC infrastructure and compaction. The present guideline describes a technical framework that is as precise as possible and is not limited to the required minimum standard. The guideline is aimed at planners, network operators, installation companies and also manufacturers. During its creation, the focus was placed on apartment buildings (new or existing).
