Abstract
This standard contains specifications concerning the protection of telecommunications systems and installations (protection of persons and of objects) against influences caused by common mode (longitudinal) and differential mode (transverse) voltages and/or currents induced by three phase ac systems via inductive, capacitive or conductive coupling. Hereby the standard refers to DIN VDE 0845-6-1 (VDE 0845-6-1), which describes or specifies, respectively, the general information, the relevant measurement and calculation methods and the limits and adds the specific requirements.
