Characteristic of indoor and outdoor post insulators for systems with nominal voltages greater than 1000 V
Abstract
This standard applies to support insulators and support insulator elements made of ceramic or glass, intended for indoor or outdoor use, and to support insulators made of organic material, intended for indoor use in electrical installations, or equipment for alternating current systems with a rated voltage exceeding 1000 V and a frequency not exceeding 100 Hz. It may also be considered a provisional standard for insulators intended for use in DC systems.
