Cold storage equipment for medical use - Part 2-1: Refrigerating and freezing storage cabinets - Performance requirements and test methods
Abstract
This document specifies the performance requirements and test methods of refrigerating and freezing storage cabinets for medical use. This document is applicable to factory-assembled refrigeration units that use motor-driven compression-type refrigerating and internal air natural convection or forced convection for cooling, including refrigerator, blood refrigerator, freezer, (referred to as 'equipment'). This document does not apply to: - equipment with a volume of greater than 2000 litres(L), e.g. cold stores; - equipment with transportation, e.g. transit cases, cold chain transporters, aviation temperature-controlled containers; - equipment with ice-lined refrigeration.
