Rules for steam turbine thermal acceptance tests - Part 4: Routine testing
Abstract
DIN EN IEC 60953-4 specifies supplementary rules for routine tests on steam turbines, which serve to monitor ongoing performance and are based on the specifications of DIN EN IEC 60953-0. It defines general principles for the preparation, execution, evaluation and trend analysis of such recurring tests, as well as for determining the associated measurement uncertainties. The standard applies to routine tests on all turbine types and capacities, but is not intended for acceptance tests of new or modernised units and can also be used as a reference for online performance monitoring.
