Abstract
This document contains requirements for preventing ignition hazards caused by the unintended effects of electromagnetic fields on equipment located in commercial areas that are at risk of explosion due to flammable gases, vapors, or mists. These requirements can be applied analogously in areas that are at risk of explosion due to mixtures of combustible dusts with air.
