Guidance on Multi-Functional Integrated Services “Street” Poles to support Smart Cities
Abstract
This SRD for Multi-Functional Integrated Services Pole (MFISP) and their supported devices provides, a technical description and stakeholders use cases within smart Cities and Regions. This document provides technical guidance for governance, procurement, operations and management. It provides a generic set of systems concepts for MFISP's to enable flexibility and interoperability between poles and their primary use cases (streetlights) and other secondary use cases (e.g. sensors, CCTV, abb-ev-Charging). The street pole industry sector and consumers (typically government agencies) with consideration and guidance in adopting best practice design to provide certainty for product design and procurement and investment certainty.
