Electricity metering equipment - Particular requirements - Part 26: Static revenue grade sub-meters for AC active energy (classes 0,5, 1, 2) and fundamental component reactive energy (classes 0,5S, 1S, 1, 2 and 3)
Abstract
The scope of work will be to prepare a new standard which specifies the metrology requirements for revenue grade electricity sub-meters as being based on the existing standards for Electricity Metering Equipment, with only the differences that apply specifically to sub-meters detailed. It includes bidirectional power flow and proof of work aspects relating to the provision of flexibility services. The sub-metering metrology requirements must be aligned with the Smart Meter requirements, in order to allow measurement reconciliation of sub-meters installed behind the main smart meter to be possible.
