Abstract
This International Standard specifies the requirements for pressboard for electrotechnical applications made from 100 % sulphate pulp or a blend of sulphate pulp and cotton. Materials complying with this standard meet recognized levels of requirements. However, the selection of a material by a user for a particular application should be based on the actual requirements for adequate performance in that application and not on this standard alone.
