Abstract

Applies to inductive current transformers for protection purposes that meet the requirements of IEC 61869-2. Can give relay and current transformer manufacturers, as well as project engineers, a better understanding of how current transformers respond to simplified or standardized short-circuit signals. To this end, this part provides further information to cover both the definition of inductive current transformers and the requirements placed on them. This correction replaces the first and second formula in section 6.1.3.3.
