Abstract
This International Standard specifies requirements and gives recommendations for the design, integration and validation of safety-related control systems (SCS) for machinery. It is applicable to control systems used either individually or in combination to perform safety functions on machines that are not hand-held during work, including a group of machines working together in a coordinated manner.
