Abstract
This document provides requirements for the software of computer-based I&C systems performing category A functions of nuclear power plants as defined by DIN EN IEC 61226 (VDE 0491-1). Purpose of the requirements is the application of highly reliable software. The document addresses each stage of software generation and documentation, including requirements specification, design, implementation, verification, validation and operation.
