Specification for radio disturbance and immunity measuring apparatus and methods - Part 1-4: Radio disturbance and immunity measuring apparatus - Antennas and test sites for radiated disturbance measurements (CIS/A/1323/CDV:2020); German and English version EN IEC 55016-1-4:2019/prA2:2020

Abstract

This draft contains the German version of the Draft Amendment 2 to the European Standard EN IEC 55016-1-4:2019 and is identical with the Draft Amendment 2 to the International Standard CISPR 16-1-4 (edition 2019). The standard specifies requirements for antennae and measuring sites that are used for the measurement of radio-frequency radiated disturbances (disturbance field strengths) in the frequency range 9 kHz to 18 GHz. The draft amendment intends to introduce requirements for the validation of measuring sites for magnetic field measurements by using loop antennas in the frequency range 9 kHz bis 30 MHz. For this puropse relevant requirements were added in clause 5 which was void up to now. Further information concerning the measurement uncertainty during the validation, the derivation of the value of the site insertion loss (SIL, NSIL), recommendations for the design of relevant measuring sites, the use of NEC Codes for calculation of the NSIL values are given in the new annexes H to M.
