Abstract
The particular requirements of this part of DIN VDE 0100 (VDE 0100) (series) apply to electrical installations in medical locations so as to ensure safety of patients and medical staff. These requirements refer to hospitals and clinics or equivalent institutions (including transportable and mobile locations). Subject to assessment the requirements may also apply to other applications.
