Overview
This document specifies performance test procedures and calculation methods for determining performance and endurance values of rechargeable battery systems, battery packs, and battery modules with internal energy storage for electrically powered industrial trucks using alkali ion technology (for example, Li-ion, Na-ion). Industrial batteries for applications other than electrically powered industrial trucks are not considered. This document specifies performance test procedures and calculation methods for determining performance and durability values for: - rated capacity (in Ah); - capacity loss (in %); - power (in W); - power loss (in %); - internal resistance (in ohms); - increase in internal resistance (in %); - round-trip efficiency (in %); - loss in round-trip efficiency (in %); - expected service life (number of cycles/years).
