Overview
This Technical Specification contains the terms used by low-voltage auxiliary power systems in power stations, substations, converter substations and associated telecommunications equipment. This terminology document enables experts to understand and identify APS-related concepts in order to avoid ambiguities and misunderstandings. The adoption of clear and consistent terminology will facilitate the development of programs, projects, and future standards. Terms relating to low-voltage auxiliary power systems in nuclear power stations and railways substations are beyond the scope of this standard.
