European Workshop on Resilience in Cities and Communities

Workshop

Neuer Inhalt

Cities and communities across Europe are facing complex environmental, social and economic challenges as well as an increasing frequency and intensity of hazards and disasters. Cities need to work together to enhance Europe’s resilience as a whole: this requires a standardized resilience management.

Against this background the research project Smart Mature Resilience (SMR) will conduct a European Workshop on Resilience in Cities and Communities, which will be hosted at the 4th of April from 10 am to 5 pm by DIN in Berlin (Germany). During this Workshop cities and communities will have the chance to network and talk about resilience problems, needs, different experiences and solutions. The workshop is open to interested cities and communities as well as to related research projects and authori-ties working on the topic of resilience.
