IEC 61312-5,TS: Protection against lightning electromagnetic impulse (LEMP)- Part 5 :Application guide
Abstract
Scope and ofject of this Application Guide is to given guidance for the application of international Standards IEC 61312 Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 for the design, the installation, the maintenace and the inspection of LEMP protection. To reach the goal a tight connection is necessary between IEC 61662, ragarding the risk evaluation and the design provisions to be adopted. Information is given about test circuits and test procedures to be adopted in the field to verify the effectiveness of LEMP protection.
