Abstract
This document includes tests for the assessment and classification of protective measures for pipe systems made of various materials where they penetrate floors and walls that are subject to fire protection requirements. This document specifies the fire protection terminology, requirements, and tests for measures against fire spread in pipe systems and in installation shafts and ducts. The pipe penetrations as well as the installation shafts and ducts shall be designed in such a way that fire and smoke are not transmitted through floors or walls during the fire resistance period in accordance with Table 1.
