Abstract
This amendment corrects editorial and technical errors in the standard DIN VDE 0833-4 (VDE 0833-4):2024-06 for alarm and monitoring systems. It clarifies the definition of the A-weighted ambient noise level within the simplified planning procedure, corrects grammatical phrasing regarding the time period for speech intelligibility in Annex A, and rectifies a faulty minimum value within the measurement report from 0.49 to the correct value of 0.61.
