General tolerances – Tolerances and limit deviations for process equipment and plant components
Abstract
This document specifies general tolerances and limit deviations for process equipments and plant components. It is based on a compilation of both current and withdrawn standards. These standards are not always consistent across the board. DIN 2929 attempts to consolidate them and summarize them in concordance tables. The tables in DIN 2929 contain - as has been proven in practice - specifications for the respective area of application. The document follows the standard procedure of assigning tolerances and limit deviations directly to the relevant dimensional specifications.
