Abstract
This part of IEC 60893 contains the requirements for laminates made of technical laminates for electrical engineering purposes based on polyimide resin and various reinforcing materials. Applications and characteristic properties are given in Table 1. Materials that comply with this standard meet recognized levels of performance. However, the selection of a material by a user for a particular application should be based on the actual requirements for adequate performance in that application and not on this standard alone.
