Abstract
The standard defines requirements for cable and pipe penetration systems used in shipbuilding. These systems must be fire-resistant as well as watertight and gastight and must be certified by recognized authorities. Testing, approval, quality assurance, and environmental requirements ensure safe and compliant use.
