Abstract
This document specifies requirements for the supply and procurement, as well as for the use and test methods, of beverage bottle closures. This document applies to: - one- and two-piece screw caps made of PE and PP for 28-mm necks; - aluminum roll-on caps for 28-mm necks; - each with or without a tamper-evident ring. These closures are intended for sealing commercially available single-use and returnable beverage bottles made of glass or plastic, whose contents may generate internal pressure and which are equipped with the necks described in Section 5.
