Abstract
This standard applies to steering gear for manned submarines, hereinafter referred to as submarines, in connection with VG 85741-2. Properties and provisions that are the same for the specified products, as well as general implementation provisions, questions relating to obligation, patent rights, etc. are contained in VG 85741-2. Steering gear for surface vessels according to this standard is subject to approval; see VG 95211.
