Abstract
The terms defined in this document serve the purpose of standardizing language. The document therefore contains the most important terms for the field of hydropower plants and those that were not unambiguous or are interpreted differently. The English translation of the terms is intended to facilitate translation without the German explanations (definitions) having to match the English ones in every detail.
