Procedures, Construction Products, and Materials for the Repair of Non-Accessible Sewer Channels and Pipes – Part 3: Repair by Injection

Abstract

This document sets requirements for procedures, construction products, and materials for the technique family "injection" for the repair of drainage systems outside of buildings, based on DIN EN 752, in non-accessible areas DN 200 to DN 800. An application in other diameter ranges, profile shapes, or non-linear pipe courses is not excluded. With repair procedures according to this document, the watertightness of defective sewer pipes and channels can be restored. Potentially beneficial impacts of repairs on the structural properties of the sewer pipes or channels are not the subject of this standard. This document applies to drainage systems, which are mainly operated as gravity systems, as long as they are not part of building drainage. It does not apply to procedures, construction products, and materials that are used within the scope of state building codes.
