This document provides general information on the concept of testing as well as the organization of these tests for the purpose of conformity assessment. It describes the relevant properties to be assessed, as well as the frequency and sampling procedures for all types of tests, namely type testing (TT), batch release testing (BRT), installation process verification testing (PVT), and surveillance testing (AT).
