Abstract
This part of IEC 60318 describes an ear simulator intended for measurement in the frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 000 Hz. The ear simulator is suitable for measuring earphone devices, e.g. hearing aids, headphones, headsets and for integration in Head and Torso simulators to simulate the complete ear canal and the outer ear.
