Abstract
This standard specifies requirements for installed portal monitors for the detection of of objects or containers mit radioactive and/or nuclear materials on a person, in a vehicle or in other packages such as mail parcels. The selection of the location of the instrumentation on the site needs to be optimised to achieve the best performance of measurement, but this is outsice the scope of this standard.
