Abstract
DIN 74104 describes the functions and requirements for the quality, strength and service life of gas coolers that are operated in refrigeration circuits with the refrigerant R744 and specifies corresponding tests. Gas coolers are understood to be all types of heat exchanger, such as direct gas coolers, indirect gas coolers, external heat exchangers and heat pump heaters.
