Abstract

This document applies to workboats that are used on inland waters, whose length L is more than 8 m and less than 20 m and whose product of length L, width B and draught T results in a volume of less than 100 m3 and which are intended for the transportation of persons and material to and from the place of work. This document does not apply to boats used for commercial passenger transport for remuneration, recreational craft according to Directive 2013/53/EU, work boats and lifeboats according to EN 1914 and small floating machines according to ISO 20650.
