Screen displays in marine technology
Abstract
This document specifies the use of visual representations of maritime and process-related information on display screens at workstation terminals aboard seagoing vessels, inland waterway vessels, naval ships, and offshore units. Colors are selected and systematically assigned to defined process states, actions, and functions. The purpose is to support the efficient retrieval, clear perception, unambiguous identification, and consistent interpretation of relevant information.
