Abstract

A proposal has been received to develop a DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure dealing with "Cleanliness of the track superstructure as part of track maintenance". The application is currently being examined. DIN SPECs in accordance with the PAS procedure are developed within workshops set up on a temporary basis. This document will be developed and approved by the authors who will approve the business plan. This DIN SPEC is used by rail infrastructure companies and specifies criteria for defining a clean track. Cleaning the track superstructure of special track bodies and independent track bodies is part of maintenance as part of preventive track maintenance, e.g. for open cross-sleeper tracks and green tracks.
