Cleanliness of the track superstructure as part of maintenance
Abstract
This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure has been drawn up by a DIN-SPEC-consortium set up on a temporary basis. This DIN SPEC has been developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. This DIN SPEC is used by rail infrastructure companies and specifies criteria for defining a clean track. Cleaning the track superstructure of special track bodies and independent track bodies is part of maintenance as part of preventive track maintenance, e.g. for open cross-sleeper tracks and green tracks.
