Abstract
This document is applicable to slip hooks of non-magnetizable (NM) austenitic steel which are used as part of the towing gear (Type A) according to VG 84543-2. This document does not apply to non-magnetizable slip hooks used on craft with towing gears (Form A) in accordance with VG 84543-2 and with gears for replenishment at sea (Form B) in accordance with VG 85488.
