Abstract
This Technical Specification applies to insulators for a.c. and d.c. applications made of a load-bearing insulating solid or hollow core consisting of ceramic or glass material coated by a thin layer of RTV (with thickness lower than 1 mm) and end fittings permanently attached to the insulating core.
