Abstract

This document specifies testing procedures and requirements on the evaluation processes for the sortability of packaging with regard to compatibility of the design with state-of-the-art collecting and sorting processes. This document is applicable to any packaging undergoing sorting processes in state-of-the-art material recovery facilities and predominantly made of: — Glass; — Paper and cardboard; — Steel; — Aluminium; — Plastics; — Wood and cork; — Textile; — Porcelain and ceramics.
