Abstract

This document amends individual aspects of the underlying international standard IEC 60601-2-22 ED4. In general, the IEC 60601-2-22 standard supplements the associated basic standard IEC 60601-1 with specific requirements for the safety of surgical, cosmetic, therapeutic, and diagnostic laser equipment.
