Guidance on the implementation of multiple use concepts for charging infrastructure at retail locations

Abstract

This topic is currently the subject of a proposal for the development of a DIN SPEC under the PAS procedure. DIN SPECs are developed by DIN SPEC consortia (temporary committees). The attached business plan provides detailed information about the planned project, including specific deadlines for commenting on the business plan (a four-week commenting period) and for registering for the kick-off meeting. The document will be developed and approved by the authors listed in the business plan. This document sets out requirements for the implementation of shared use concepts for charging infrastructure for electric vehicles on retail parking areas. It is aimed at retail companies, parking space owners, charging infrastructure operators, fleet managers, as well as representatives of local residents and the housing sector. The goal of the DIN SPEC is to support standardized procedures for the implementation and joint operation of charging infrastructures.
