Dosimetry for exposures to cosmic radiation in civilian aircraft - Part 5: Dose assessment of intermittent sources of ionising radiation at aviation altitudes (ISO 20785-5:20xx)
Abstract
Acute radiation level increase caused by the solar energetic particles and other radiation sources at flight altitudes shall be detected and the end-users shall be informed in an appropriate way. The subject for standardization is the method to evaluate the relevant radiation risk of aircrew and passengers at flight altitudes.
