Acoustics - General supplements for quality assurance of outdoor sound calculation software according to DIN 45687-1 - Part 1: QSI data interface
Abstract
This document outlines the format specification of the QSI data interface as a foundation for the provision of test tasks in the DIN/TS 8999 series and for the exchange of input and output data between different software products (see DIN 45687 1, 6.2.4). It describes the structure of a QSI model file and the data format of QSI objects for the exchange of model data to compute outdoor noise emissions. This document is applicable to software products that enable calculations concerning outdoor sound propagation. For regulations-specific additions (e.g., RLS-19), please refer to the DIN/TS 8999 series.
