Abstract

This document specifies a format for mapping data elements, preceded by data identifiers according to ISO/IEC 15418, into a URL. In addition, optional security mechanisms such as digital signatures and encryption are defined. The responsible body for this document is NA 043-04-31 AA "Automatic Identification and Data Capture Techniques" within the DIN Standards Committee Information Technology and Applications (NIA).
