Abstract

This document is prepared by the working committee NA 032-03-02 AA "Components and auxiliary materials - gas" in the Gas Technology Standards Committee (NAGas) of DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. in agreement with the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW). This document is to be included in the "Gas" rules and regulations of the DVGW, German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water. This document specifies requirements and tests for excess flow valves for the operating pressure range from 15 hPa to 100 hPa up to a nominal diameter of DN 50 with a defined flow direction (hereinafter referred to by the abbreviation "GS"), which are used in contact with gases classified in accordance with DVGW Code of Practice G 260 (but not for liquefied gas in the liquid phase).
