Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Fundamentals and measures for the development and design of systems and equipment - Part 30: Cabling, shielding, bonding; Text in German and English

Abstract

This document is applicable to systems and equipment to be newly developed or to be newly procured for the Bundeswehr. The fundamentals and information given in this document are intended to help developers and designers of equipment and systems - to achieve appropriate routing of cables and insulated wires on the basis of given wanted and disturbance levels or a specified electromagnetic environment and required coupling attenuation levels; - to assess the shielding properties and to achieve optimum shielding attenuation by means of design measures; - to select the most suitable design for ground and grounding with respect to equipment and system EMC.
