Air quality - Determination of ozone in ambient air - Ultraviolet photometric method - Amendment 1

Abstract

A recent review and analysis of the literature values for the absorption cross-section of ozone at room temperature at the mercury-line wavelength (253,65 nm, air) recommends a change from the conventionally accepted value. The major national measurement and standards bodies around the world have recommended that this new value be adopted into the methods and standards for measuring ozone in air. ISO/TC 146 SC 3 has two methods (ISO 13964 and ISO 10313) that needed to be revised to incorporate this new value.
