Technical services for industrial process engineering systems: structuring and categorization of industrial services description

Abstract

This topic has been submitted as a request for the development of a DIN SPEC according to the PAS procedure. DIN SPECs in accordance with the PAS procedure are developed within DIN SPEC (PAS)-consortiums set up on a temporary basis. In the attached business plan you will find detailed information on the planned project as well as concrete time limits for commenting on the business plan (four-week commentary period) and for registering for the kick-off. This document will be developed and approved by the authors named in the business plan. This DIN SPEC defines a structuring and categorization of the industrial performance categories according to the DIN SPEC 77229 series. It also provides a visualization of this structure in the area of industrial process engineering systems so that services can be better assigned and differentiated from one another. The service contents defined in this DIN SPEC do not correspond to the German Construction Contract Procedures (VOB) and do not provide formulation aids for services in building construction, civil engineering, hydraulic engineering and transportation construction, which are contained in the Standard Service Book for Construction (STLB Bau) and the Standard Service Book for Temporary Work Contracts (STLB BauZ).
